Steve Cross has been involved with and practicing the martial arts for over 10 years. He has trained in Wing Chun, and holds a black belt in Haidong Gumdo (Korean swordsmanship) as well as an honorary 2nd degree for his dedication to teaching.

Steve was trained privately and taught under Grand master Ki Wook Sung (8th Dan in Gumdo), and much of the curriculum of Legacy is derived from values and principals of the grandmaster and Haidong Gumdo.

Instructor Steve has traveled extensively throughout Japan and Thailand and has embraced much of the teachings and philosophies of the east.

He has meditated with and practiced Aikido with Buddhist monks on the holy mountain of Koyasan in Japan and has had many interesting adventures overseas. Steve is dedicated to the concept of making eastern philosophy relevant to the western mind.
